Alternative Energy

Participants will develop technical skills like soldering, reading schematics, cutting and gluing wood as they build a photo voltaic solar array to for their solar-powered cart they can take home.

Physics of Sound

Participants will build three instruments by exploring the science behind sound and discovering the mathematical relationships that rule the production of sound and music.

People and Plants

Participants will explore the relationship between people and plants, and investigate the better conditions for growing plants. They will design and build a greenhouse and a vertical garden.

Intro to Robotics

Participants will be immerse in the world of machines and robots​ as they design​, test​ and build their own Mousetrap Cart​, Art Bot​, Robo Bug and a programmable Robot.

Advance Robotics

Participants will explore how robots are programmed using micro-controllers. The participant will learn how to operate external devices such as LED’s, speakers and motors, following a defined procedure (program).

Online Activity Journals are for instructors implementing the Scientists for Tomorrow programs at their schools or community centers.

A STEAM out-of-school time initiative

Established in 2011, Scientists for Tomorrow (SfT) Initiative brings together a wide range of community engagement programs integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM).

Scientists for Tomorrow initiative is committed to offer STEAM opportunities for youth and adults through the collaboration between higher education institutions, community based organizations and the Informal Science Education (ISE) community.
